Suffolk Safeguarding Forum

Want to know more about how you can train your own staff in Safeguarding?

Our Safeguarding Forum may be just the place for you.

The forum enables a wide and positive impact on safeguarding practice across the county, contributing to improving outcomes for children and adults across Suffolk. The purpose of the Safeguarding Professional Development Forum is:

•To act as a mechanism for peer support/supervision and ongoing professional development for Safeguarding Children and Adult trainers/partners.

•To contribute to establishing the role and professional identity of the trainers.

•To receive up-to-date information on topical/current issues regarding Safeguarding.

•To share examples of good practice and achieve consistency of approach across the partner agencies.

•To contribute to improving outcomes for children, young people and adults across Suffolk.

Registration is via Suffolk CPD between 1st September and 31st December each year and requires you to complete a short eLearning module to confirm you understand the expectations of being a member of the Forum and being a Safeguarding Trainer.

Once logged in to Suffolk CPD, navigate to the Safeguarding Category and look for the Suffolk Safeguarding Forum tile.
