In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the charity Compassion, like everyone else, have suspended our F2F programmes until it is safe to continue. However, we are happy to announce we are now delivering the Who’s in Charge? Programme online.
Responding to Child to Parent Abuse
Who’s in Charge?
ONLINE Programme for Parents
Starts Monday 12th October 2020
Facilitators: Cathy Press & Carole Baker
Who’s in Charge? is for parents & carers who have a child aged 8-18 years, who currently appears to be out of parental control or who uses violent and abusive behaviour towards them.
The programme runs across 9 weeks, weekly for 8 weeks and a 2 month follow up. Each week the group will work online for 2 hours via the zoom platform. The programme offers insight into CPV, exploration of why abuse happens, tools to develop meaningful consequences, emotional and moral support, opportunities for self-reflection, encouragement, empowerment self-care and a promise of some FUN along the way.
The programme will run on Monday mornings from 9.30am – 11.30am.
Please contact Cathy on 07966 592632 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or to access a place on the online course.
